The portraits are made with 4×5 inch (10×12 cm) and 8×10 inch (20×25 cm) large format cameras. After development, the negatives are contact printed (the 8×10-inch negatives) or enlarged (the 4×5-inch negatives) to 20×25 cm prints with a white passe-partout of 24×30 cm. The negatives are scanned for publication on the website.

The studio has access to a wide variety of historical costumes. The portraits are made with digital cameras and can be in colour and black & white.
